House Cleaner

Job Overview

This position requires proficiency in English, with knowledge of Russian or Ukrainian considered advantageous. No formal education or previous work experience is necessary as training will be provided. The role involves traveling frequently or constantly between various work locations.

Work Environment

• Non-smoking environment
• Work conducted inside clients' homes or private residences
• Potential workplaces include apartments, condominiums, urban areas, cleaning service companies, and diverse locations
• On-site customer service delivery is an integral part of the role

Key Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors
• Dusting furniture and vacuuming carpets, rugs, draperies, and upholstery
• Making beds and replacing sheets
• Distributing towels and toiletries and stocking linen closets
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Sanitizing elevators
• Removing debris and emptying trash containers
• Laundering, ironing, and pressing clothing and household linens
• Washing windows, walls, ceilings, shower rooms, and changing rooms
• Handwashing dishes and coordinating in-house laundry services
• Cleaning, polishing, waxing furniture and finishing materials
• Providing courteous customer service and addressing complaints or concerns professionally
• Using maps and trip planning aids to navigate between locations
• Following directions carefully and maintaining cleanliness of work areas

Experience and Specialization

• Experience in cleaning
• Specialized knowledge in central vacuum systems

Additional Information

• Candidate must be bondable and able to provide a satisfactory criminal record check and references
• Willingness to travel regularly at own expense; public transportation availability
• Must be capable of working independently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment involving repetitive tasks, heavy lifting, bending, crouching and standing for extended periods
• Required to bring and use personal protective equipment such as gloves and a mask, plus have a cellular phone
