Role Overview

Take your optical skills into the community as a Home Visits Optical Assistant at Specsavers. This role offers the excitement of varied daily work locations and a chance to personally support patients who cannot visit stores. It allows you to deliver eye care and genuine smiles directly to individuals within their own homes across regions including Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire, Bath, Northeast Somerset, Bristol, and parts of Wales such as Chepstow and Monmouth. Ideally, candidates are positioned in South Bristol or Weston-Super-Mare to best serve the area.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized optical care to vulnerable patients at their residences throughout the designated service territory.
• Adapt to different testing environments each day, ensuring high standards for patient comfort and eye care.
• Dispense optical products confidently across all levels.
• Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor to build strong patient relationships.

Requirements

• At least six months to one year of recent optical experience with confident dispensing skills.
• Possession of a full UK driving licence to accommodate mobile service delivery.
• Preferred candidates will also have experience in a fast-paced customer service setting and a background in optics.
