Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking dedicated Home Care Workers to support older adults in the Coffs Harbour area and surrounding suburbs such as Boambee, Bonville, Emerald Beach, and Woolgoolga. This role involves assisting clients in maintaining their homes and promoting their wellbeing, helping them live independently for longer.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base pay of $40.77 per hour plus superannuation
- Reimbursement for work-related kilometers traveled

- Paid CPR and First Aid training courses
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general housekeeping tasks including making beds and cleaning floors by mopping and vacuuming
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and ironing
- Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping
- Provide social support and transport clients to lifestyle activities
- Offer respite to family carers by taking over caregiving tasks when needed

- Able to establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families
- Committed to supporting ageing community members to remain independent at home
- Handle challenging client situations or scheduling issues with resilience and a positive attitude
- Capable of working independently, solving everyday problems, and knowing when to seek managerial assistance
Requirements
- Possession of a current Australian Open class driver’s license
- Ownership of a roadworthy and insured vehicle
- Interest in community or aged care; experience is desirable but not mandatory
