About the Role

We are in search of an experienced Heavy Haul Driver to join Roll Group's operations team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to our heavy lifting and transportation services, managing loads typically over 70 meters in length, including overweight and oversized cargoes often requiring overnight hauls.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain all vehicle mechanical, safety, and emergency systems in optimal condition.
  • Keep precise electronic and manual logs in line with legal requirements.
  • Record service, repairs, report any vehicle defects, traffic violations, accidents, or damage.
  • Secure heavy and oversized cargo efficiently to guarantee safe transportation.
  • Execute accurate truck positioning during loading/unloading as guided by crew signals.
  • Obtain delivery acknowledgments and verify all load documentation for correctness.
  • Review shipment orders and bills of lading to understand trip specifics.
  • Handle coupling and uncoupling of trailers when necessary.
  • Inspect trailers post-unloading to confirm absence of damages.
  • Operate communication equipment including truck cab computers, CB radios, phones, and GPS.
  • Ensure necessary permits are procured and valid for all loads transported.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional driving experience in relevant roles.
  • Thorough knowledge and adherence to regional transportation regulations (e.g., OSHA, FMCSA, DOT).
  • Possession of a valid driver's license recognized by local authorities.
  • Compliance with company-defined competence and training standards.
