Role Description
The full-time, on-site HSE Instructor position based in Doha, Qatar, involves delivering comprehensive health, safety, and environmental training programs. Key duties include designing and facilitating engaging classroom and hands-on training, revising course content to meet national and international standards, and ensuring alignment with client needs. The instructor evaluates trainee performance, offers constructive feedback, maintains detailed training records, and cooperates with the consultancy team to enhance training quality. Additional responsibilities comprise participating in audits and accreditation, as well as working closely with clients to customize training solutions.
Key Qualifications
- Solid grounding in Health & Safety with hands-on experience applying workplace or industrial safety protocols.
- Valid NEBOSH certification (for example, NEBOSH IGC) or equivalent credentials, alongside current knowledge of global HSE standards and laws.
- Demonstrated competence in safety training, including curriculum design, interactive presentation, and learner assessment.
- Proficient communication skills in English to convey complex safety topics clearly; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
- Prior experience as an HSE instructor, safety officer, or related role, ideally within accredited or ISO-compliant training institutions.
- Preferred qualifications include recognized instructor certifications or adult education credentials such as Train the Trainer or teaching certificates.
- Strong attention to organizational detail and documentation to comply with accreditation and ISO requirements.
- Dedication to ethical practice, diversity, and inclusion, with an ability to work professionally and respectfully with diverse colleagues and clients.
