Head of Operations

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned and strategic Head of Operations to lead and manage all operational aspects of the organization. This senior leadership position entails designing, executing, and refining operational strategies to drive efficiency and support company growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement operational strategies that align with the company's vision and growth objectives.
• Oversee daily business operations ensuring maximum productivity, efficiency, and superior service delivery.
• Create, execute, and continuously enhance operational workflows, processes, and performance benchmarks.
• Track and analyze key operational metrics and key performance indicators, delivering actionable insights to senior management.
• Champion initiatives aimed at operational excellence, process improvements, automation, and cost reduction.
• Work collaboratively with department heads to harmonize operational efforts with business goals and client expectations.
• Manage resource allocation, budgeting, workforce planning, and operational forecasting.
• Identify risks related to operations and implement strategies to mitigate disruptions and ensure continuity.
• Lead change management, organizational development, and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory standards, quality criteria, and operational controls.
• Coach and mentor managers and teams to foster accountability and high performance culture.
• Support strategic business planning, growth initiatives, and new market opportunities.
• Prepare comprehensive operational reports and updates for executive leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Significant experience in operations management or related leadership roles in business management, supply chain, or logistics.
• Deep knowledge of operational strategy, process optimization, and performance management techniques.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale business operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and operational performance oversight.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, business analytics, data reporting tools, and operational technologies.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic, high-growth, fast-paced environment.
• Robust commercial insight and strategic business understanding.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred; MBA or relevant executive qualifications are a strong advantage.
