Jumeirah International Nurseries (JINS) is part of the esteemed Fortes Education family, established in the UAE since 1981. The network comprises 10 branches across prime locations in Dubai and Sharjah.
The Role Opportunity
Fortes Education is expanding and seeks a motivated and experienced Nursery Manager to oversee a new Early Childhood Centre in Sharjah. This role is ideal for passionate educators eager to inspire young learners through exceptional early years education.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage all academic and operational aspects daily, embodying the group’s vision.
- Maximize enrolment across programs while leading staff recruitment, retention, and professional development.
- Manage financial operations, ensuring budgetary controls and systems are maintained effectively.
- Design and implement a balanced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and IPC curriculum enriched with play-based learning, Reggio Emilia principles, the Curiosity Approach, and Fortes’ Accelerated Learning initiatives.
- Maintain the Centre’s facilities to the highest standards, ensuring full compliance with regulations from the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), Health Authority, Sharjah Municipality, and other governing bodies.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification in Early Childhood Education or a Level 5 vocational certification.
- Minimum of three years’ experience managing an Early Childhood setting with demonstrable knowledge of childcare standards and legal requirements.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills coupled with a strong professional ethic.
