About the Role
FedEx is seeking motivated Handlers to become integral members of our operations teams, responsible for the safe and timely delivery of customer packages. The position involves working a 40-hour week during morning shifts from 03:00 to 11:30.
Key Duties
- Efficiently load and unload delivery vehicles to ensure packages arrive in excellent condition and on schedule.
- Sort and transport packages and freight employing scanning technology for accuracy.
- Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety standards and guidelines.
Candidate Profile
- Capability to perform well in a dynamic, fast-paced setting while meeting strict deadlines.
- Strong team collaboration skills while also able to work independently when required.
- Willingness to participate in training programs as necessary.
- Good communication abilities to interact effectively within the team and workplace.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay of £13.29, with additional premiums for shifts between 7pm-10pm and 10pm-6am.
- An initial 22 days of annual holiday, increasing by one day per year of service up to 27 days.
