Group Finance Manager

Role overview

An international sports organisation is seeking a Group Finance Manager to take ownership of its financial reporting function in Dublin. This is a leadership position overseeing a team of three and comes at an important point of business transformation, offering the right candidate a chance to shape the role and influence the organisation commercially over time.

What you'll do

• Own the group’s financial reporting and compliance outputs.
• Guide, motivate and develop the financial reporting team, including performance management and career progression planning.
• Help improve finance processes and reporting across the global business.
• Put strong governance controls and frameworks in place across the group.
• Work closely with the Commercial and Operations teams as a business partner.

What we're looking for

• A qualified accountant with at least 5 years of experience in a group finance role within an international environment.
• Experience leading strong teams through transformation or major change.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• A driven, committed team player with a strong work ethic.
• Solid IT capability and project management skills.
