About the role
The Melbourne team is seeking a Graduate Project Planner (Analyst) to join an entry-level consulting position with direct exposure to major projects. This role is designed for someone who wants to build a career in a consulting setting and gain practical experience across project planning, controls and delivery support.
You will work alongside senior consultants and project teams, assisting with research, analysis and the preparation of client materials. With close mentoring and structured guidance, you will develop a strong base in scheduling, project controls and consulting practice while contributing to meaningful work from the outset.
TBH’s services span planning and scheduling, project controls, cost management, claims and dispute resolution, and risk management. This creates the chance to experience a wide variety of industries, project types and technical challenges.
Key duties
- Assist with implementing project plans and support delivery activities under senior supervision
- Collect, review and interpret project information to assist with reporting and other deliverables
- Prepare clear documentation such as reports, schedules and presentation materials
- Use project controls approaches to help identify issues and contribute to solution development
- Work with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to support project outcomes
- Help improve processes and provide general administrative support when needed
What you need
- A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Some practical exposure to project scheduling or project controls
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications and related software, preferred
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, including support for report preparation
- Good organisation and time management, with the ability to balance competing priorities
- Comfort working collaboratively in a team-based environment
- A reliable, professional and client-focused approach
- Curiosity, initiative and a genuine willingness to learn and improve
