Position Summary

This full-time, hybrid position based in Dubai combines expert golf coaching with marketing, sponsorship management, and golf business development centered on ventures in Ghana.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, structured golf training for the firm's principal, emphasizing technical skills including swing mechanics, short game, putting, course strategy, fitness integration, and tournament readiness.
• Develop and manage a progression plan aimed at elevating the principal towards competitive amateur status.
• Create and implement a marketing strategy enhancing the principal’s profile at the nexus of golf, athletics, and investment, including content development, social media management, and coordination of public appearances at key UAE golf events.
• Identify, negotiate, and oversee sponsorships and brand partnerships with golf-related companies and corporate sponsors, handling relationship management end-to-end.
• Lead the firm's golf-related initiatives in Ghana, including course and junior development, tournaments, and golf tourism aligned with broader infrastructure goals, managing market research, partnerships, proposals, commercial negotiations, and operational execution.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators to refine strategies and support business growth in the Ghana golf platform.

Candidate Profile

• Certified golf coach credentials (such as PGA, TPI, or equivalent) with a strong history as a player; experience coaching adult athletes or high performers is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to design training programs with measurable performance improvement.
• Experience in securing and managing sponsorships or brand partnerships, or relevant commercial experience in golf, sports, or hospitality sectors.
• Skills in content creation, social media, athlete branding, or sports marketing are a notable plus.
• Well-versed in the UAE golf environment including clubs, events, and sponsors; familiarity with golf development in Africa or emerging markets is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with influence and representation skills at industry events.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills, able to balance coaching and business development tasks in a hybrid work setting.
• Proficient with CRM software and standard business applications; comfortable analyzing data and preparing reports.
• A bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, or a related area is preferred though coaching qualifications are weighted more heavily.
• Willing to travel regionally and to Ghana for site visits and business activities as necessary.

Compensation

The monthly salary ranges from AED 7,000 to 10,000, commensurate with experience and certifications, supplemented by performance-based bonuses tied to sponsorship and business development success.
