Role Summary
The Global Benefits and Leaves Analyst is a key member of Harvey's Total Rewards team, focused on managing and enhancing employee benefits and leave programs globally, especially across EMEA and APAC regions. This role involves providing frontline Tier 1 support, overseeing administration tasks, coordinating vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with local laws while supporting a growing international workforce.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for Tier 1 benefits inquiries worldwide, addressing routine questions promptly and escalating complex issues to Benefits Program Managers.
- Support benefits program administration and vendor partnerships in EMEA and APAC, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to company total rewards policies.
- Manage leave-of-absence processes end-to-end across multiple countries, covering statutory and company leaves.
- Collaborate with Payroll teams and external brokers to facilitate accurate benefit enrollments, updates, and employee exits.
- Analyze benefit usage data and employee feedback to identify trends and suggest improvements.
- Assist with open enrollment activities, launching benefits in new countries, and crafting employee communications alongside Benefit Program Managers.
- Process and reconcile invoices related to benefits from vendors and brokers.
- Create and maintain internal documentation including benefit guides, FAQs, and standard operating procedures as programs evolve.
- Support vendor onboarding, purchase order administration, and contract management with input from Finance and Legal teams.
Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years experience in benefits administration, leave coordination, or HR operations, preferably in multiple-country or global settings.
- Familiarity with benefits systems, statutory requirements, and leave policies within EMEA and/or APAC regions.
- Strong communication skills and a service-first mindset, delivering empathetic and timely employee support.
- Experience using HRIS platforms such as Workday, ticketing or case management tools like ServiceNow, Zendesk, Jira, or Workday Help, and benefits administration software.
- Some experience with managing relationships with benefits vendors and brokers.
- Analytical capability to interpret benefits data and create actionable reports.
- Ability to work independently on daily operations and recognize when to escalate difficult cases.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis including functions like VLOOKUP and pivot tables, as well as invoice reconciliation.
