Job Overview
The General Worker position involves upholding cleanliness, hygiene, and safety within sugar cane logistics settings. This role covers various locations such as harvesting sites, loading zones, workshops, machine yards, offices, restrooms, and storage areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain tidy and hazard-free workspaces by removing debris, cane residues, mud, and any spills.
- Support the safety of personnel, vehicles, and heavy machinery including cane loaders, tractors, haulage trucks, and mechanical harvesters by ensuring clear and clean environments.
- Reduce risks of slips, trips, equipment blockages, and visibility issues by thorough cleaning in high-traffic and heavy equipment zones.
- Comply with health, safety, and operational protocols to promote a safe working atmosphere.
