Position Summary

We are currently seeking a motivated Shop Assistant to assist customers, keep our store fully stocked and orderly, and contribute to a team passionate about excellent fresh food and service. No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided, but a positive attitude, pride in your work, and enthusiasm for fresh food are essential. Many store managers began their journey in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Selecting and packing orders for online customers from platforms such as Uber Eats, Online Direct, and Amazon
• Delivering excellent customer service via phone while preparing their orders
• Collaborating with team members to reduce out-of-stock items and manage product substitutions effectively
• Efficiently picking orders in a fast-paced environment to meet timely delivery requirements
• Maintaining accurate shelf displays ensuring customer convenience and ease of purchase
• Providing attentive on-floor service to customers
• Adhering to food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations
• Supporting daily operations to ensure smooth store functioning

Candidate Profile

• Passionate about food with experience in fresh food retail preferred
• Great attention to detail and strong organisational capabilities
• Physically fit to perform manual handling tasks and remain on feet during shifts
• Effective team player with a solid work ethic
• Availability to work flexible shifts across a 7-day roster including mornings and evenings
