Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Presentation Designer to contribute to the Tendem project, a hybrid system combining AI with human creativity. In this freelance, part-time remote role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling visual stories through high-impact presentations. Collaborating with AI-powered Tendem Agents who manage routine aspects, your focus will be on applying critical thinking, domain expertise, and precise formatting to produce polished, professional decks and one-pagers.

Responsibilities

• Develop sophisticated pitch decks and one-pagers customized for diverse audiences.
• Convert intricate datasets into clear, minimalist visual narratives emphasizing logical information hierarchy.
• Enhance presentations with tailored typography, refined animations, and consistent visual design.
• Maintain a premium corporate and creative style across all materials.
• Ensure all outputs meet rigorous standards for alignment, pacing, and brand conformity prior to delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization.
• Preferred educational background includes Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or related creative disciplines.
• Expertise in presentation platforms like PowerPoint and Keynote to build complex, dynamic, and smoothly animated slides.
• High proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) or Figma for creating custom visuals.
• Strong skills in translating complex data and multilayered structures into streamlined and effective visual stories.
• Advanced typography and animation skills facilitating professional-grade, elegant presentations.
• English proficiency at an upper-intermediate (B2) level or higher is mandatory.

Additional Expectations

• Experience producing premium corporate-creative style layouts with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and resolve design challenges proactively.
• A comprehensive portfolio showcasing sophisticated presentations, pitch decks, and data visualizations is required; applications without this will not be considered.

Workload and Compensation

During active project phases, contributors may expect to invest approximately 10 to 20 hours weekly, though this is an estimate and not guaranteed. Compensation for this role can reach up to $50 per hour, with payment level linked to contributor expertise and speed. Rates may vary across different platform projects depending on complexity and scope.
