About the Role

How the Program Works
- Submit an application through a brief form and upload your CV. Upon a fit, you will have a short virtual interview before onboarding into the program.
- Founders present their companies and roles to you, giving insight beyond typical job descriptions.
- Engage with fast-growing startups both by applying and receiving interest from companies that view your profile as a great fit, with over 10 candidates already approached by startups.
- Receive tailored advice and preparation to excel in your interviews, based on extensive interview experience.
Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in Germany is mandatory.
- Proficiency in German at B2 level or above is required.
- Additional fluency in other European Union languages such as Dutch, Spanish, Swedish, French, Italian, or Polish is an advantage due to international expansion.

The Founder’s Associate position involves working closely with a startup’s founder or CEO on a variety of strategic, operational, marketing, sales, and fundraising projects. This role exposes you to multiple business functions and offers a comprehensive understanding of startup operations.
Career Path
Typical advancement paths include moving into a Chief of Staff role, individual contributor or leadership roles in areas you prefer, or launching your own startup. Former Founder’s Associates often become successful founders themselves.

This opportunity is crafted for early-career generalists eager to gain broad startup experience without immediate specialization. Compensation
Typical salaries range from €55,000 to €65,000 annually for Founder's Associates, and from €70,000 to €95,000 for Chief of Staff or Country Launcher roles, sometimes including equity incentives.
Additional Information
Most partner companies require German language skills due to interactions with local authorities and business environments. Although fluency in German is a hard requirement for roughly 80% of roles, 20% of program spots are reserved for exceptionally promising candidates without German skills.
Regarding work setting, while the founder embraces remote operations, most collaborating companies prioritize in-office engagement. Candidates should expect to work on site for most of the week.
