Role Overview

This unique position allows you to shape a novel role combining creativity, sales, and education. As the pioneering Forward Deployed Creative, you will innovate workflows and strategies that position Luma's technology as an essential resource for global creators, creating new playbooks from scratch in an evolving field of AI-driven storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leading global brands and creative agencies as a trusted advisor on generative AI integration.
• Design and prototype innovative AI-enhanced production workflows to accelerate and enhance storytelling capabilities.
• Produce high-quality, hands-on content leveraging Luma's Dream Machine, setting benchmarks and inspiring case studies.
• Work closely with partner executives to translate complex technical functionalities into actionable creative and business advantages.
• Serve as the liaison between Product, Partnership, and Sales teams, feeding back field insights to influence product development.
• Establish the foundational practices and engagement strategies of the Forward Deployed Creative function.
• Act as a passionate ambassador within the creative community, promoting the potential of generative video and Luma's vision.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience in senior creative roles such as Creative Technologist or Technical Director within prestigious agencies, studios, or tech companies.
• Impressive portfolio showcasing delivered projects with exceptional quality, storytelling, and technical skill.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and build new solutions in fast-moving, uncertain environments.
• In-depth understanding of creative production workflows, including VFX, animation, and motion graphics, with the capability to develop and implement new systems.
• Strong communication and presentation expertise, skilled at advising senior creative and business personnel strategically.
• Deep enthusiasm for AI's creative applications and Luma’s mission to augment human imagination.

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience with generative AI creative software, such as Midjourney, Runway, Pika, or Stable Diffusion.
• Recognition as a thought leader or creator within emerging technology or generative art communities.
• Background in cutting-edge creative agencies or in-house labs at major technology or brand companies (e.g., Buck, The Mill, Google Creative Lab, Apple Marcom).
