About the Role
Hermitage House, a luxury 67-bed care home in Thrapston, Northamptonshire, is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join Country Court's family-run care business. This position involves part-time, onsite work totaling 30 hours per week with rota-based weekend shifts from 08:00 to 18:30. The home offers a premium living environment with personalised care for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver meals, snacks, and drinks to residents attentively.
- Maintain snack stations by restocking them regularly.
- Ensure cleanliness following meal service.
- Reset tables including cloths for subsequent meals.
- Keep dining and kitchen areas tidy and hygienic.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a motivated and caring individual to contribute to a person-centred atmosphere for our residents and strengthen community connections. Candidates should have:
- Strong customer service abilities.
- Previous experience in food and beverage assistance or similar hospitality roles.
- Sound knowledge of the food or restaurant industry.
- Awareness of COSHH and health and safety regulations.
- A warm, friendly, and compassionate demeanor.
- Capacity to engage positively with residents and their families.
- Understanding of Dementia care principles.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Relevant Experience
