Role Overview
The Fleet Coordinator position is based full-time onsite in Jiddah, bearing responsibility for managing the daily functions of the company's vehicle fleet. This encompasses planning and dispatching vehicles, monitoring fleet usage, scheduling maintenance, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Key Duties
- Coordinate vehicle scheduling and dispatching to support logistics and store operations.
- Track and optimize fleet utilization and delivery routes to reduce downtime.
- Ensure vehicles comply with safety, maintenance, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain detailed records regarding vehicle performance, fuel consumption, and service history.
- Generate periodic reports for management review.
- Address operational challenges promptly and assist in cost management efforts.
- Contribute towards continuous enhancement of fleet efficiency and effectiveness.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Experience or skills in fleet operations, route planning, and basic logistics coordination.
- Proficiency in data entry, record keeping, and using fleet or logistics management software.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across operational and logistical teams.
- Competency in problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, and managing time effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Prior experience in fleet management, transportation, or retail logistics is highly desirable.
- Understanding of vehicle maintenance processes, safety norms, and local regulatory standards is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Jiddah with readiness to support during peak operational periods.
- Educational background such as a diploma or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or related fields is beneficial.
