About evyve
evyve operates a growing public network of rapid and ultra-rapid electric vehicle charging stations throughout the UK, all powered by 100% certified renewable energy. Partnering with property owners such as retail parks, restaurants, and pubs, evyve is rapidly expanding its charging infrastructure to support increased EV adoption by making charging more accessible.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Finance & Data Analyst to join our dynamic, small team in Central London. Under the direct supervision of the CFO, your analytical work will directly influence strategic decisions made by the leadership team, including site expansion, pricing strategy, and performance measurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Create succinct, board-ready reports integrating financial data and operational metrics.
- Conduct proactive financial performance analyses to guide strategic and operational decision-making.
- Assist with month-end closing activities by reviewing costs and handling cost allocations.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to enhance process efficiencies, governance standards, and financial controls.
- Serve as a liaison connecting finance with operations and commercial departments.
- Provide additional finance-related analysis and support as needed.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in advanced Excel functions including XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and creation of structured, audit-friendly models from raw datasets.
- Strong capability in analyzing imperfect datasets, identifying anomalies, and extracting meaningful, commercially relevant insights.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly articulate insights to senior leaders who may not have technical backgrounds.
- Self-driven and proactive attitude with the ability to independently manage problems in a fast-paced startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, science, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience with Power BI including report creation, DAX, and data modeling or similar business intelligence tools.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, or contemporary data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric.
- Progress towards professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.

- Salary range: £35,000 to £40,000 annually, plus benefits.
