Field Service Technician

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Technician to join a specialist heavy equipment operation servicing major construction and civil engineering projects in New Zealand. This role provides the chance to work with a broad array of heavy machinery including piling, construction, and earthmoving equipment, within a dynamic company focused on growth and career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, diagnose, and repair a wide range of heavy diesel equipment in both workshop and on-site settings.
• Handle machinery such as piling rigs, construction vehicles, earthmoving equipment, and equipment owned by clients across various industries.

Candidate Profile

• Experienced in working with heavy diesel machinery including construction, earthmoving, agricultural, material handling, mining, or quarry equipment.
• Possess relevant heavy diesel trade certification and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Prior experience performing repairs and servicing as part of a field service team.
• Effective communication skills with a focus on excellent customer service.
• Hold a valid New Zealand Full Driver's License.

Employment Details

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $48 to $52.
• Standard Monday to Friday work schedule totaling 40 hours per week.
• Company provides vehicle and tools necessary for the job.
