Job Overview

The Field Operator IV specializing in Tubular Running Services (TRS) is accountable for the safe and efficient execution of TRS tasks during offshore drilling and completion activities. The role encompasses operation, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of TRS equipment to ensure smooth wellsite operations aligned with organizational standards for operations, quality, and health, safety, and environment (HSE).

Responsibilities

• Conduct TRS operations safely and efficiently on offshore rigs.
• Operate and maintain TRS equipment, including inspection and troubleshooting.
• Adhere strictly to company HSE, quality, and operational protocols in the field.
• Deliver reliable operations with emphasis on eliminating non-productive time (NPT).
• Continuously monitor tool performance to preempt potential failures.
• Ensure equipment readiness especially for deepwater offshore activities.
• Liaise effectively with client representatives and offshore personnel throughout operations.
• Maintain thorough records, service documentation, and operational reports.
• Participate actively in safety briefings and risk assessment meetings prior to operations.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior crew members and specialists.
• Handle, maintain, and store tools and equipment correctly.
• Exemplify teamwork and effective communication in offshore settings.
• Support initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and service quality.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, industry standards, and offshore safety regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Senior secondary education or equivalent.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in Tubular Running Services and 6 to 10 years in oil & gas field operations.
• Proven experience in TRS operations.
• Offshore field experience, preferably in deepwater drilling.
• Experience working on offshore rigs in demanding environments.
• Relevant offshore certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical diploma or certificate from an accredited vocational institute.
• Prior experience with Weatherford TRS tools and offshore systems.
• Familiarity with offshore drilling and completion procedures.
