Overview
Polycab's advanced manufacturing unit located in Halol, Gujarat is seeking an Executive Engineer / Shift In-charge to lead operations in cable production. The role emphasizes optimizing production lines involving CCV (Catenary Continuous Vulcanization), Medium Voltage cables, and rubber extrusion to enhance productivity and ensure high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise rubber cable manufacturing, CCV lines, and rubber extrusion processes to fulfill daily production targets efficiently.
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance of extruder and cabling equipment to reduce downtime and maintain smooth plant operations.
- Lead and train floor technicians on adhering to safety standards and standardized operating procedures (SOPs).
Requirements
- Possess a B.E., B.Tech, or Diploma in engineering from any discipline.
- Have practical experience in rubber cable manufacturing, CCV, or rubber extrusion processes related to production.
- Hold 2 to 6 years of experience specifically as a Shift In-charge in manufacturing environments.
