Compensation

The salary ranges across five levels from $20.35 to $22.84 per hour, reflecting progression within the role.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• A minimum of one year of housekeeping experience in an institutional, commercial, or healthcare setting is preferred; however, training will be provided.
• Educational qualification of Grade 12 or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards relevant to the department is necessary.
• Commitment to resident safety at all times is essential.
• Physical ability to perform duties involving bending, stooping, kneeling, stretching, and climbing stepladders.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
