Engineering Trainee Technician - Aerospace (No Prior Experience Required)

Position Summary

The traineeship is created for candidates eager to start a career in aviation but who do not meet the current technical qualifications for an aircraft engine technician. Successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive 12-month structured training before advancing to a certified Aircraft Engine Technician role.

Training and Job Details

• Engage in an organized program encompassing company orientation, theoretical classroom study, and practical on-the-job training.
• The classroom phase lasts three months, taught by an external training academy, combining theory and hands-on exercises.
• A subsequent nine-month OJT involves gaining direct experience working on Rolls-Royce Trent engines under expert mentorship.
• Upon program completion, technicians commit to a two-year employment bond with the company.

Work Schedule and Location

• Five-day workweek with rotating shifts: Morning (6:30 AM - 4:15 PM) and Afternoon (4:00 PM - 1:45 AM).
• Work location: Changi facility.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Engineering fields such as Aeronautical, Avionics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Precision Engineering.
• Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts.
