Job description
About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Quantity Surveyor to become part of a leading Tier 1 Mechanical & Electrical contractor based in Dublin. In this role, you will be fully responsible for projects from the tender stage through to the final accounting process, collaborating closely with clients, project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), valuations, and final accounts accurately.
- Manage variations, claims, and implement cost control measures effectively.
- Oversee subcontractor and client relationships to ensure smooth project progression.
- Conduct commercial reporting and identify potential risks for mitigation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Quantity Surveyor.
- Previous background in Mechanical & Electrical contracting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of commercial and contractual aspects related to quantity surveying.
