Electrical Improver - Lincoln

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Improver based in Lincoln to join our team. This role offers up to 12 months of work for the suitable candidate.

Working Hours

The working schedule is Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM.

Project Responsibilities

• Carry out installations of all new Light & Power (L&P) services, including secondary PVC containment systems.
• Install external lighting systems incorporating timers and photocells.
• Perform removal and strip out of existing electrical services when required.
• Conduct labelling and thorough testing of all new and retained electrical circuits to ensure compliance and safety.
• Install protection measures during work, maintain cleanliness by cleaning work areas after each shift, and properly dispose of waste to designated central skip or location.

Key Requirements

• Possession of an ECS (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme) card.
• Must have own tools necessary for the role.
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
• Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is preferred; however, assistance is available for candidates who do not have it to obtain one.
