About the Role
The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), a governmental body advancing sustainable development of the emirate's culture, tourism, and creative sectors, is seeking an Education & Skills Development Manager for a 12-month contract. This position focuses on implementing the talent development pathway by orchestrating education and skills-building initiatives ranging from school exposure to vocational training, higher education, certifications, and employment progression programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design educational programs by converting the talent pathway framework into actionable plans detailing learning goals, targeted groups, curriculum content, delivery modes, duration, certification, and progression strategies.
- Collaborate with educational institutions and industry experts to develop or customize curricular offerings.
- Evaluate international educational and certification programs, adapting proven elements suited for the UAE environment.
- Develop persuasive partner proposals outlining program structures and aid negotiation efforts.
- Oversee daily operational partnerships with schools, universities, vocational centers, academies, and bootcamps responsible for program delivery.
- Manage program launches including recruitment campaigns, selection processes, scheduling, sourcing educators and mentors, provisioning facilities and resources, and resolving operational challenges.
- Ensure adherence to program quality standards and contractual terms with partners.
- Maintain comprehensive tracking of cohorts covering enrollment, completion rates, certification achievement, advancement, and employment placement.
- Produce performance reports aligned with leadership KPIs and propose program enhancements or terminations based on results.
- Contribute insights for business cases and partnership discussions concerning costs, capacity, delivery practicality, and expected outcomes.
- Assist with annual planning and budget formation for the education and skills portfolio.
Candidate Profile
- Proficient in managing multiple concurrent educational programs and partnerships, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
- Experienced in coordinating varied stakeholders across multiple levels and functional areas.
- Fluent in English, with Arabic language skills considered a plus.
