Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site role in Jabalpur for a Duty Officer responsible for keeping daily cinema operations running smoothly. The position requires coordination across teams, monitoring of auditorium readiness, guest support, compliance with policies, and basic reporting.
What the Role Involves
- Track show timings and help ensure the cinema operates on schedule.
- Work with different departments to keep daily operations coordinated.
- Check auditorium readiness, including cleanliness, seating condition, and equipment functionality.
- Support front-of-house teams in handling guest movement and maintaining smooth flow.
- Respond to customer questions and resolve service concerns professionally and promptly.
- Follow company procedures for safety, cash handling, and operational compliance.
- Prepare simple reports covering daily performance and any incidents.
- Supervise shift staff when needed and keep communication flowing between the team and management.
- Assist with special events and promotional activities at the cinema.
Skills and Experience Needed
- Strong focus on customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to stay calm while handling complaints or queries.
- Basic administrative and operational coordination skills.
- Comfort with shift planning, cash-handling oversight, and report writing.
- Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail when checking facilities, safety practices, and policy adherence.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and late hours as required.
- Basic computer knowledge, including use of POS or ticketing systems.
- Prior exposure to retail, hospitality, entertainment, or cinema operations is helpful, though not essential.
Eligibility and Education
