Job description
Job Overview
The Driver Cum Office Boy role involves collecting various environmental and food samples from customer locations and ensuring their secure transportation to the laboratory. This position also supports the technical team during field visits and maintains administrative records and vehicle upkeep.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to gather water, wastewater, food, soil, air, and other assigned samples.
- Transport samples carefully to the laboratory ensuring their integrity.
- Label, pack, and handle samples properly during transit to avoid contamination or loss.
- Fill out documentation such as sample collection forms, field records, and customer acknowledgments accurately.
- Deliver test reports, invoices, and necessary documents to clients as requested.
- Coordinate sample collection timing and logistics with laboratory personnel.
- Navigate routes efficiently using Google Maps or other smartphone tools and communicate with customers when needed.
- Keep the company vehicle clean, well-maintained, and in good operating condition.
- Record details related to fuel consumption, travel distances, and vehicle utilization.
- Support technical staff during sampling activities and site assessments.
- Adhere to organizational protocols for safety, sample handling, and quality assurance.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, representing the company positively.

Compensation
The monthly salary ranges between 20,000 and 25,000 INR.
