Domestic Cleaner

Role overview

Stateside Foods Limited is hiring a Domestic Cleaner for its Site Services Department in Westhoughton. This position runs Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:00.

The main purpose of the role is to keep cleaning standards consistently high and to provide dependable service to both internal and external customers.

Main duties

• Keep offices, meeting rooms, canteen areas, toilets, office spaces, and outdoor areas clean and well maintained.
• Handle routine administration and associated paperwork on a daily basis.
• Maintain strong hygiene and housekeeping practices, working to a clean-as-you-go standard so all areas remain at a high level of cleanliness.
• Carry out additional reasonable tasks within the Site Services Department as required.
• Represent the Site Services Department in relevant company meetings when needed.
• Provide support and guidance to colleagues where appropriate.
• Follow the company’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Follow the company’s hygiene policies and procedures.

Skills and qualities

Applicants should bring strong organisational ability, clear communication skills, and a close eye for detail. The role involves varied responsibilities, so the ability to work to deadlines and contribute effectively as part of a team is important.

Additional information

Knowledge of health and safety practices and COSHH is preferred, although training will be provided.
