Overview
Join the prestigious King Salman International Airport (KSIA) – Terminal 6 Substructure Works as a Document Controller. This full-time, office-based position in Riyadh places you at the heart of a major Project under the AL-HARBI & CCECC Joint Venture, collaborating with global leaders such as Bechtel, Foster + Partners, and KSIADC. This opportunity offers hands-on experience with world-class document control workflows, support for Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) accreditation, and career progression towards leadership or compliance roles.
Primary Duties
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of project documents in line with Bechtel’s procedures and KSIADC standards, including submissions such as shop drawings, method statements, material approvals, technical queries, compliance records, and final as-built documentation.
- Enforce strict version control by ensuring document naming, revision markings, and approval stamps meet established protocols. Prevent circulation of unapproved or outdated files.
- Coordinate document flow between internal JV teams (Technical, HSE, Commercial, Site) and external parties including Bechtel’s Document Control Center, Foster + Partners, local consultants, and government agencies.
- Maintain live document tracking dashboards updated weekly to monitor submission statuses, approvals, and compliance remediation, reporting to JV leadership.
- Manage the Common Data Environment (Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM360) to ensure secure uploading, permissioning, and archiving of all digital files, alongside digitizing hard-copy records in compliance with Saudi data retention laws.
- Keep the Precast Component Traceability Register updated, linking each precast beam or panel with its fabrication, inspection, transport, and installation documentation, ensuring alignment between physical and BIM models.
- Ensure full compliance with Saudi Building Code, Ministry of Labor records, and Local Content & Government Procurement Authority standards. Prepare monthly performance reports and support internal and external audits efficiently.
