About the Role
JASARA Program Management Company (PMC) is searching for a seasoned and proactive Director to lead its Utilities division. This senior executive position demands strategic oversight and effective management of all utility-related operations spanning multiple projects. The role is pivotal in crafting the vision, guaranteeing compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, and championing superior standards in utility planning, design, and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement strategic plans for the utilities division that align with the company's overall objectives.
- Direct and guide utility managers and their teams to meet both project and corporate goals.
- Ensure all utility operations meet legal, regulatory, and industry benchmarks.
- Supervise budgeting processes, resource allocation, and financial outcomes for the utilities division.
- Collaborate effectively with government bodies, utility providers, clients, and other key stakeholders.
- Apply risk management approaches to anticipate and address utility-related challenges.
- Foster innovation and ongoing improvements in utility procedures and standards.
- Act as JASARA PMC’s representative at external forums, conferences, and meetings relevant to the industry.
- Stay updated on industry developments to adapt and sustain a competitive edge.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a similar field is mandatory; possessing a Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Minimum of 15 years in utility management, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven success managing extensive utility projects and leading substantial teams.
- Strong strategic planning and leadership capabilities.
- Thorough understanding of utility systems, regulations, and recognized industry practices.
- Robust financial skills with experience overseeing budgets.
- Excellent communication skills and adeptness in managing stakeholder relationships.
- Capability to lead transformative initiatives and introduce innovations within the utilities function.
