Role Overview

The Director, Total Rewards is responsible for crafting, executing, and overseeing the company's regional compensation and benefits programs. This role ensures alignment between pay structures, benefits, and mobility initiatives with business objectives, market trends, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute global compensation and benefits strategies consistent with company goals and market standards.
  • Oversee budgeting processes for compensation and benefits, including bonus evaluations and total rewards plan construction.
  • Continuously monitor compensation and benefits schemes for competitiveness and legal adherence locally.
  • Engage in financial planning related to compensation and benefits expenditure projections.
  • Stay updated on legislative changes and industry developments to adjust programs efficiently.
  • Analyze data on compensation and benefits to uncover trends and recommend enhancements.
  • Prepare in-depth reports for senior leadership detailing compensation and benefits metrics and strategic advice.
  • Provide expert guidance to HR and business units on compensation and benefits topics and training programs.
  • Manage comprehensive benefits programs encompassing health insurance, retirement options, wellness initiatives, and various employee perks.
  • Assess and refine benefits programs regularly for cost-effectiveness and industry competitiveness.
  • Lead negotiations with benefits vendors and supervise all benefits administration activities.
  • Ensure all benefits comply with legal and regulatory standards across operating regions.
  • Develop and administer global mobility programs such as expatriate management, relocations, and international transfers.
  • Formulate policies for international assignments, including compensation structuring, tax compliance, and immigration matters.
  • Support employees and their families throughout international postings.
  • Maintain relationships with relocation and immigration service providers.
  • Supervise payroll operations for accuracy and compliance, collaborating closely with finance and HR teams.
  • Maintain vendor partnerships related to compensation, benefits, and payroll, negotiating contracts to maximize value.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any field is preferred.
  • At least 10 to 15 years of experience in Compensation and Benefits, ideally within regional or global scopes.
  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
