About The Opportunity
- Become a key member of a leading New Zealand organisation that delivers impactful community work.
- Lead the Strategic Projects Office and guide the conversion of strategy into execution.
- Manage the portfolio rhythm including forums, governance structures, prioritisation, reporting processes, and escalation protocols.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to find the right balance between control and enablement using risk-based approaches.
- Drive tangible results across technology, transformation, and change management projects.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive senior experience in managing PMO, SPO, or portfolio functions within complex organisational settings.
- Demonstrated success in establishing consistent decision-making forums, reporting cycles, and maintaining governance discipline.
- Expertise in portfolio governance covering prioritisation, dependency oversight, and delivery assurance.
- Proven leadership in change beyond standard methodologies, capable of evolving ways of working and delivery maturity.
- Exceptional executive stakeholder management skills characterized by influence, resilience, clarity, and data-driven communication without jargon.
- Outstanding leadership abilities to manage teams comprising strategic project managers, business analysts, and digital professionals.
