Role Summary

The Director of Business Development will be responsible for winning new clients across North America, creating a strong pipeline of payments modernization opportunities, and building long-term relationships across RedCompass Labs' offerings.   • Design and execute a territory plan for North America, including target segments, priority institutions, and the most effective ways to secure first meetings.
  • Maintain a healthy, well-qualified pipeline of new opportunities, with disciplined forecasting and accurate CRM use.
  • Own the full enterprise sales process from outreach and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and contract close.
  • Present RedCompass Labs AI either as a way to accelerate consulting outcomes or as a standalone offer with advisory support, depending on the client’s needs.
  • Spot and develop opportunities where a client can move between commercial models, and actively advance both paths where relevant.
  • Develop deep market knowledge of North American payments modernization, including key institutions, transformation programmes, regulatory shifts, and competitive activity.
  • Grow a strong network of relevant contacts at target organisations and create meetings, introductions, and early-stage conversations proactively.
  • Track industry movements and use market insight to shape timely, relevant outreach to new prospects.

Requirements

  • Clear ability to open executive relationships from a cold start and manage multi-stakeholder enterprise deals through to close.
