Core responsibilities

  • Expand the assigned account portfolio by more than 15% year over year.
  • Support revenue growth with the account’s Custodian of Client Success through disciplined account planning, CXO agenda development, procurement engagement, and internal collaboration to sell additional offerings.
  • Build trusted relationships with C-level leaders and steer strategic conversations that connect technology decisions to business priorities.
  • Help secure a strong executive sponsorship position for AI initiatives within managed accounts, working with AI-for-Change advisors and capability leaders.
  • Lead discussions that highlight improvements in productivity, operating efficiency, and cost reduction through digital and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Obtain testimonials and references from clients that reflect the quality of the work delivered.
  • Stay closely aligned with client priorities, business issues, and transformation goals so new solutions can be proposed proactively.
  • Work with delivery and solution teams to shape proposals, build value propositions, and position differentiated offerings.
  • Use AI and GenAI language confidently to explain how modern solutions can improve business outcomes.
  • Maintain a regular on-site presence at the client location at least once a week to strengthen relationships.
  • Partner with internal practice, delivery, and sales stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and strong execution.

Qualifications and requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in key account leadership or a closely related role, including ownership of a $20M+ account and a clear record of account expansion.
  • Ability to engage credibly with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and senior business leaders while building strong working relationships.
  • Comfortable discussing AI transformation in business terms within at least one industry context.
  • Strong deal-shaping capability and commercial understanding, including the ability to build and defend a business case and handle procurement and legal discussions.
