Position overview
Johnson Health Tech North America is looking for a Digital Designer to support its consumer fitness brands: BowFlex, Schwinn, Horizon, and JRNY. Reporting to the Global Brand Art Director, this non-supervisory role focuses on producing polished digital creative that strengthens the company’s online presence and helps increase customer engagement. You will partner with marketing, product, and e-commerce teams to deliver a broad mix of digital assets.
Core responsibilities
The role spans digital design, web support, social content, email creative, motion graphics, print collateral, and project coordination.
- Create a wide range of digital assets such as website visuals, email layouts, social media posts, online advertising, and promotional materials.
- Develop visual ideas that stay aligned with brand standards and marketing plans for BowFlex, Schwinn, Horizon, and JRNY.
- Maintain a consistent look, feel, and message across all digital channels.
- Support photo and video shoot planning and direction so that final assets match brand expectations and stakeholder needs.
- Design web pages and landing pages that are intuitive, user-friendly, and built to improve conversions.
- Work with web developers to bring designs to life and confirm they can be implemented technically.
- Refine website design over time using user input and performance analytics.
- Produce eye-catching visuals for social posts, stories, and campaigns that help build awareness and engagement.
- Collaborate with content teammates on infographics, banners, and interactive pieces that support marketing efforts.
- Create responsive email templates and ensure they render correctly across devices and email platforms.
- Build simple animations and video assets for digital campaigns, and edit video content for different channels.
- Design large-format print materials such as banners, murals, and vehicle wraps.
- Support retail brand presence through experience zones, product packaging, on-product graphics, and merchandising materials.
- Handle multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines and tracking priorities.
- Work with internal stakeholders to collect requirements and incorporate feedback.
- Take on other related projects as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital media, visual arts, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in digital design, ideally within fitness or consumer products.
- Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
- Hands-on experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is an advantage.
- Working familiarity with email marketing platforms and email design best practices.
- A portfolio demonstrating digital design work across web, social, email, and motion/video projects.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 10%.
