Overview
Join our team at Maple Ridge Volkswagen, part of the AutoCanada group, for a full-time Detailer position located in Pitt Meadows, BC. Key Responsibilities
- Detail both interior and exterior of customer vehicles to dealership standards ensuring a clean and polished finish.
- Perform routine car detailing tasks such as vacuuming, deodorizing, washing, and applying paint sealants.
- Clean and polish wheels and rims using various hand-held tools and equipment.
- Maintain a neat and organized workspace while supporting the service team and adhering to safety procedures.
- Alert supervisors or technicians if vehicle parts need repair or replacement.
- Complete quality control checklists to guarantee exceptional service standards.
- Assist with other repair duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Demonstrated interest and knowledge in the automotive industry.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record, able to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Experience handling cleaning supplies, power washers, and detailing tools is advantageous.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing priorities efficiently.
- Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting, extended standing periods, and the use of power tools and handheld equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada is mandatory.
