Designers foster enduring customer relationships by combining broad knowledge across classic and contemporary styles with technology to bring design ideas from concept to reality through in-store and in-home consultations.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance sales and create memorable customer experiences by offering elevated design services in-store, at customers' homes, and virtually.
• Develop sophisticated design concepts including moodboards, 2D/3D floor plans, product selections, and detailed presentations using preferred digital tools.
• Lead consultations through various channels such as in-person meetings, phone, email, and video conferencing, ensuring timely and attentive project delivery.
• Understand and embody the brand's aesthetics and merchandising strategies across Store, E-Commerce, and Catalog platforms.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product features, care instructions, and monitor competitor and industry trends.
• Achieve sales targets, KPIs, and productivity benchmarks; engage customers actively by applying strong sales techniques.
• Listen attentively to customers to identify optimal product solutions and communicate loyalty programs effectively.
• Model exemplary customer service with enthusiasm and professionalism, ensuring swift and gracious interactions.
• Support training efforts to deepen team understanding of design services and offerings.
• Build and nurture new customer relationships through networking and clienteling approaches.
• Apply fundamental design principles such as spatial planning, fabric selection, lighting, and various interior styles.
• Communicate clearly and promptly, translating both brand vision and customer desires into tangible design solutions.
• Demonstrate technological proficiency with 2D/3D design software, Google Workspace tools, video conferencing platforms, and iPad usage; skilled in floor planning.
• Stay current on evolving design trends and act flexibly to adapt to business changes.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least one year of relevant experience in furniture sales, home decor design, retail, or customer service roles.
• Experience collaborating one-on-one with clients to recommend tailored design solutions.
• Proficient with Google platforms and virtual communication; familiarity with design software is preferred.
