  • Analyze key growth factors and compare actual performance against plans, previous cycles, and prior years, including retail sales and inventory data from POS and retailers.
  • Support preparation for Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) meetings, helping highlight risks and opportunities relevant to business objectives.
  • Work closely with Operations to clarify demand forecasts and with Supply Planning on purchase order decisions and expedited order analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Finance to plan for new product innovations, track forecast assumptions, and report on their outcomes.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to manage the product portfolio, identifying slow-moving inventory and incorporating marketing strategies into upcoming demand plans.
  • Examine short-term shipment trends and customer service data to enhance near-term forecast accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, or related roles.
  • Preferred experience with demand planning tools such as Anaplan, Logility, or Valogix.
  • Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions is essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while dealing effectively with ambiguity.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication capabilities.
  • Proven problem solver who implements lasting improvements.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Willingness to take on additional duties as needed.
