Role Overview
Join Sainsbury's as a Delivery Driver for Argos, delivering a broad range of over 60,000 products directly to customers’ homes or designated collection points. This role demands careful handling of items, timely deliveries, and an engaging professional approach towards customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Load delivery vehicle appropriately and complete assigned delivery drops per shift using guidance from an electronic Proof of Delivery (ePod) device.
- Deliver products promptly and precisely while maintaining friendly customer interactions.
- Operate safely and comply with all driving and company policies to ensure on-road safety.
- Receive phone support during deliveries and follow route instructions to return to depot within shift hours.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a full UK or EU driving license held for at least 12 months, with a maximum of six penalty points.
- Be at least above the school-leaving age as determined in your country and have legal right to work in the UK.
- Demonstrate reliability, enthusiasm, and excellent customer service skills.
- Physical capability to lift and carry goods involved in deliveries.
- Problem-solving skills to handle unforeseen delivery issues efficiently.
