Job Overview

The role centers on preparing superior hot and cold deli items while prioritizing excellent customer satisfaction within a busy town center deli located on Castle Street, Sligo.

Candidate Profile

• Basic knowledge of HACCP principles is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong communication abilities
• Previous experience in customer service adds value
• Capability to collaborate in a dynamic team and perform multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
• Genuine enthusiasm for food and ability to engage and inspire customers

Main Responsibilities

• Embody Centra's core brand values: pride, energy, creativity, and community orientation
• Prepare customer orders across various fresh food segments such as assembling sandwiches and rolls, portioning hot dishes, and slicing meats adhering to store portion controls
• Cook, prepare, and present food items throughout the operational day
• Maintain the highest presentation standards for deli counter displays across fresh food sections continuously during opening hours
• Express passion for quality food by offering customers knowledge, recipes, and personalized suggestions
• Efficiently and professionally address all customer inquiries following store policies

Additional Information

Working hours will include weekends and select weekdays. Successful candidates will also receive training to operate checkouts. While prior experience is advantageous, comprehensive training will be provided.
