Role Responsibilities

• Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to deliver intelligent data automation solutions that enhance decision-making processes.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning, recommendation systems, and Generative AI models in a live production environment.
• Partner with software developers to build applications that integrate your data and model outputs effectively.
• Author production-level code ensuring high standards of quality and reliability.
• Promote a data-driven culture by providing automated data products and actionable insights throughout the organization.
• Seek opportunities to boost the Data Science team's efficiency via improved workflows and new data resources.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Possesses over 4 years of professional experience with a track record of deploying at least five machine learning models that consistently add business value.
• Proficient with Databricks, MLflow, large language model frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex, and familiar with vector databases and embedding models.
• Advanced expertise in Python and SQL, along with working knowledge of PySpark, GIT, continuous integration/delivery pipelines, and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience using Atlassian tools including Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, as well as IDEs like PyCharm or Visual Studio.
• Solid grounding in statistical concepts including sample selection, probability theory, hypothesis testing, and linear regression analysis.
• Strong understanding of foundational machine learning algorithms such as logistic regression, decision trees, random forests, and clustering techniques.
