Data Science Expert - Remote Contract Role

About the Role

We are seeking seasoned Data Science Experts to contribute to an advanced AI research initiative with a globally recognized AI research organization. This role offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $120 to $170 and is fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop grading frameworks tailored to various real-world data science deliverables.
• Assess AI-generated outputs alongside human-produced analyses, models, dashboards, experimental reports, and business recommendations.
• Deliver thoughtful and evidence-backed scoring accompanied by well-explained written rationales.
• Ensure consistent evaluation standards and collaborate with senior evaluators to enhance quality.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of five years of professional experience in data science.
• Background in business operations, product, or growth data science, ideally gained at top-tier technology companies.
• Proficiency in experiment design, A/B testing, metric formulation, SQL, and Python programming.
• Capability to effectively communicate complex technical insights to business and executive-level audiences.
• Strong written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AI model evaluation, reinforcement learning with human feedback (RLHF), data annotation, or artificial intelligence training projects is advantageous.
