Viva Raw is a rapidly expanding direct-to-consumer brand focused on fresh pet food. The company helps pet owners choose convenient, nutritious options for their animals using meals prepared in USDA kitchens with 100% human-grade ingredients. Since launching without outside funding, Viva has reached thousands of pets nationwide by shipping frozen meals directly to customers' homes.

Role Overview

This is a full-time remote position for 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate is someone who is deeply committed to giving customers and their pets a smooth, supportive, and positive experience. Prior experience matters less than attitude, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in pets, health, and nutrition.

What You'll Be Doing

Handle incoming customer photos and enjoy interacting with pet parents who share pictures of their cats and dogs.
Manage support conversations through email, live chat, phone, and direct messages, serving as the main contact for product and order-related questions.
Explain the value of fresh food diets and help customers understand how to begin using the product.
Improve customer support operations by creating templates, refining workflows, and spotting ways to make processes more efficient.

What We're Looking For

Strong enthusiasm for pets, nutrition, and customer care.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for both customer interactions and internal collaboration.
Excellent organization and careful attention to detail.
Calm, professional, and empathetic communication style, especially in difficult conversations.
Solid problem-solving ability, operational thinking, teamwork, and a proactive approach to improving processes.
Comfort learning new tools quickly, including Shopify, helpdesk software, and order management systems.

Preferred Background

Availability to work weekend shifts.
Previous experience in customer service or a related support role.
Experience with pets or the pet industry.
Comfort working in a small-team environment.
Personal interest or experience with raw or fresh food and a strong passion for nutrition.

Additional Perks

Pet food benefit valued at up to $550 per month, subject to location availability and limited to the U.S., excluding Alaska and Hawaii.
