Role Overview

The Corporate Communications Manager will spearhead the creation and implementation of corporate communication strategies, overseeing executive and internal communications, media relations, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will craft impactful messages, advise senior leadership, and guarantee uniform communication across all internal and external platforms, suitable for professionals with expertise in corporate communications, public relations, and strategic storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement corporate communication strategies that align with the organization's goals.
  • Oversee internal and external messaging across diverse communication channels.
  • Create executive communications including leadership speeches, presentations, announcements, and talking points.
  • Lead internal communications initiatives to boost employee engagement, alignment, and culture.
  • Manage media relations, including responding to press inquiries, handling interviews, issuing press releases, and corporate announcements.
  • Develop corporate narratives, key messages, positioning statements, and communication frameworks.
  • Provide support during crisis communications and reputation management amid significant events.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with executive leadership, HR, marketing, legal, investor relations, and business teams.
  • Maintain and manage corporate websites, intranets, newsletters, and other communication platforms.
  • Plan communications for major initiatives such as organizational changes, transformations, mergers, acquisitions, and strategic announcements.
  • Monitor media coverage, stakeholder sentiments, industry trends, and potential reputational risks.
  • Prepare reports on communication performance, stakeholder insights, media analysis, and executive dashboards.
  • Manage relationships with external communication agencies, public relations firms, creative partners, and media contacts.
  • Establish governance for corporate communications, including standards, approval processes, and brand consistency.
  • Drive ongoing improvements in communication effectiveness, digital presence, and stakeholder interaction.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, Media Studies, or related areas.
  • Seven to twelve or more years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, media relations, internal communications, or strategic communications.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and deploying corporate communication strategies.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, presentation, and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong experience supporting senior executives and leadership teams.
  • Excellent skills in stakeholder management, media relations, and handling crisis communication.
  • Solid knowledge of corporate reputation, employee engagement, and communication governance.
  • Ability to function effectively and independently while working remotely.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, MBA, or a similar field.
  • Certification in corporate communications, public relations, change management, crisis communications, or related disciplines.
  • Experience working within multinational companies and sectors such as financial services, technology, telecommunications, energy, healthcare, government, or professional services.
  • Familiarity with crisis communications, change management messaging, ESG communications, investor communications, executive positioning, and reputation management.
  • Practical knowledge of tools like Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, Adobe Creative Cloud, or comparable platforms.
  • Experience overseeing regional or global corporate communication programs.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic language skills are highly advantageous.
