About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create scalable machine learning and computer vision solutions for enhancing media presentation in product catalogs.
• Derive actionable insights from extensive Amazon datasets to automate and improve content.
• Design, implement, and assess generative AI models customized to specific business requirements.
• Engage with business stakeholders to gather and align on project goals and requisites.
• Conduct forefront research to develop innovative machine learning methods addressing customer challenges.
• Guide and mentor interns and junior researchers within the team.
• Contribute to the scientific community by publishing at premier conferences in computer vision and machine learning.

Qualifications

• Possess a Ph.D. or a Master’s degree plus over four years of experience in computer science, computer engineering, machine learning, or related disciplines.
• Proficient in programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, C, or C++.
• Have research publications accepted by leading conferences like CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, or NeurIPS.
• Experience designing cutting-edge deep learning model architectures and expertise in training, optimization, and model pruning is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Extensive background (over five years) in developing machine learning models or algorithms for practical business applications.
• Advanced knowledge of implementing deep learning, especially computer vision algorithms.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating environments.
• Hands-on experience with prominent deep learning frameworks such as MxNet and TensorFlow.
