The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is currently seeking motivated individuals passionate about supporting Democratic candidates across various election levels. The Compliance Research Associate position plays a vital role in ensuring compliance through detailed research and reporting.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Compliance, the associate will undertake individual research assignments, compile comprehensive reports, and prepare memos outlining key findings. Candidates with experience using LexisNexis and other research platforms are preferred. Essential qualities include meticulous attention to detail, excellent time management, and strong writing abilities, as this role requires rapid and accurate research execution.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned research projects diligently.
• Perform social media investigations across various platforms.
• Conduct thorough vetting by utilizing LexisNexis and other digital databases.
• Work independently to analyze information and generate concise reports.
• Support additional departmental functions aligned with the DNC's objectives as needed.

Requirements

• Commitment to the principles and mission of the Democratic National Committee.
• Prior use of LexisNexis is preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in political campaigns strongly favored.
• Capability to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary begins at $54,100 and is commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a full-time, non-exempt position eligible for overtime compensation beyond 40 hours per week and is part of the SEIU Local-500 bargaining unit.
