About the Role
Platform Property Care is seeking a motivated and diligent individual to join our Mobile Caretaking team as a Community Caretaker. This role involves providing essential caretaking and cleaning services across estates, blocks, and schemes located in Worcestershire. As part of our team, you will play a key role in maintaining welcoming, safe, and well-kept communal living spaces.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily duties will encompass a variety of tasks to uphold the quality and safety of our properties and their surroundings. These include cleaning communal areas to keep them hazard-free, clearing leaves, spraying weeds, picking up litter, removing graffiti, performing minor repairs, and addressing fly tipping issues.
Role Requirements
Applicants should possess a positive attitude, demonstrated flexibility, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards are essential. Experience in customer-facing roles involving cleaning or caretaking is preferred. Proficiency with IT tools is necessary as the role requires logging repair orders and health and safety checks through an iPad portal. A full, valid driving licence is mandatory, as the position is mobile and involves travel between various locations within Worcestershire. Additionally, candidates must be willing to undergo a Basic DBS check.
Additional Information
This full-time position involves a 35-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, with core hours from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM and no weekend shifts. Platform Property Care is part of Platform Housing Group, a reputable property maintenance company focused on growth through a dedicated and skilled workforce.
If you meet these criteria and are excited about making a difference in your community, we encourage you to get in touch with our Recruitment Team. Please note, only applicants holding a current valid driving licence will be considered, and no recruitment agency applications are required at this time.
